Early Mornings

It seems that the mornings feel even earlier than they used to.
I've never been a morning person, so marrying a morning person was a learning curve. Waking up and realizing he is just awake still baffles me, even after almost 11 years married. So having kids that are just awake when they wake up has always been a challenge.
I have tried waking up earlier than them so that I can get some time in before they wake up for myself to have a minute to wake up. But sometimes that doesn't always work out.
I have tried just waking up with them, drinking coffee, and hoping for the best. But that didn't usually work out.
I have found that waking up with my husband seems to help. If he is up, I don't have to be fully functional because he is and is always willing to help with the kid that is awake. It gives me a moment to wake up, and breathe before being completely mom.
But these last few weeks, getting up, the mornings feel earlier than they used to. The time isn't any different, but being so pregnant and having a baby so young is definitely wreaking havoc on my mornings.
I'm just always tired.
But, I'm grateful for the routine so that I can have the time to meet with God before the kids wake up, or before I have to fully function. But sometimes I wish I could just sleep in.
Early mornings. I'm still not a morning person, even if I am up early.
